Prayer Shawl Ministry Ladies Visit the VA

Members of Calvary's Prayer Shawl Ministry visited the VA in Dallas in June to present the 44 red, white and blue afghans and lap blankets they had made for the Veterans and their familys.

New Intern: Ellen Cutting
Calvary prepares to welcome our new intern in August. Her name is Ellen Cutting and she writes:
I am Ellen Cutting and I look forward to coming to Texas. I have just finished my second year of studies at Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. I have been involved in the work of the church my entire life. My background is in organ performance and I have served as Music Director in not only the Lutheran church, but also the Presbyterian Church and the Jewish Temple in my home town.
