On Sunday, May 24, more than 44 red, white and blue afghans and lap blankets with displayed and blessed in observance of Memorial Day. They were made by members of Calvary's Prayer Shawl Ministry.

The afghans and blankets will be distributed at the Dallas Veterans Hospital and Fisher House on July 4.
