The mission of the Spiritual Mentor Program is two-fold. 

First, at the heart of this program is the intent to provide you with personal attention regarding your spiritual life. Each Christian is on a journey to God, walking in the footsteps of Christ. Each Christian lives a paradox: simultaneously surrounded by a Christian community and yet alone on the path. A Spiritual Mentor is a fellow Pilgrim who walks side by side with you for awhile, helping you recognize and interpret the signs from God along the way and supporting you in prayer.

Second, the purpose of this program is to train Spiritual Mentors to work with individuals and to provide ongoing spiritual direction for the Mentors themselves. Mentors are organized into "cells" of four people who are called to the ministry of spiritual direction. They meet regularly for training and discussion and to practice group spiritual direction.
