Jess Lakota was a dear Saint of God who could spin quite a good yarn, complete with authentic sounding ethnic accents when appropriate. He was fond of saying, “Now I don’t mean to tell you what to do…” and then proceed to do exactly that. He was known for many things but has been immortalized by this simple salad, a favorite of the café crowd.
